Our shelves are a treasure trove of literary discoveries! From classics to the most current publications in adult fiction, nonfiction, large print, and paperbacks.
Local History-
Several years ago, the Aguilar Public Library decided to collect printed material directly related to our local, southern Colorado area and it's rich history. We now have a wonderful collection of books about our coal mining roots and about the wonderful people who have lived and worked in our area. The Apishipa Valley Historical Society has made their quality publications available to our library patrons as well.
Children and young adult-
Hundreds of wonderful children's books are arranged according to reading level grace the entry area of the library, from beginning readers to level 5.
A comprehensive collection for young adult readers is kept up-to-date with new publications selected to delight and inspire.
A wide selection of classic children's literature is available to pass on the joyful reading from past generations.
